The teaser concludes by returning to the first child, who brings his Duster model next to another scale car hidden under a red cover. This covered model represents the next-generation Duster. The clip briefly reveals the illuminated LED DRLs at the front and the nearly connected LED taillights at the rear, hinting at the SUV’s updated design.
2026 Renault Duster India Launch Timeline
The teaser highlights the phrase “The Icon is Back,” along with the date 26.01.26. This confirms that the new Renault Duster will be officially unveiled on India’s 77th Republic Day. However, it is still unclear whether Renault will announce full pricing on the same day or only showcase the SUV’s design and features.
What to Expect from the 2026 Renault Duster
The upcoming Renault Duster will be built on the CMF-B modular platform. This architecture will also be used for the upcoming Nissan Tekton, which is expected to debut around the same time. The new Duster has been developed from scratch and will be larger than its predecessor.
Dimension-wise, it is expected to measure approximately 4,345 mm in length, 1,822 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of around 2,658 mm.
On the exterior, the SUV will feature Y-shaped LED headlamps and DRLs, Renault lettering on the grille, a bold front bumper with large air intakes, and fog lamps. The side profile will include rugged body cladding, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear door handles integrated into the C-pillar, and prominent roof rails. At the rear, the Duster will sport Y-shaped LED taillights, the new Renault logo, and Duster badging.

Interior and Features
Inside, the new Duster is expected to offer a clean yet tough cabin design, packed with modern features. Likely highlights include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an Arkamys Classic six-speaker audio system, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting.
Engine and Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the 2026 Renault Duster is expected to come with a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 154 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It may also be offered with a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid turbo-petrol unit. Additionally, Renault could introduce a strong hybrid powertrain at a later stage.
