The Skoda Slavia continues to be one of the strongest contenders in the mid-size sedan segment, ranking just behind its sibling, the Volkswagen Virtus, in terms of sales. Now, the upcoming Skoda Slavia facelift has been spotted testing once again, this time in Pune, revealing a few fresh details ahead of its expected launch.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: What’s New?
The Skoda Slavia is already known for its stylish design, strong performance, and feature-rich package. With the facelift version currently under development, Skoda appears to be making subtle but noticeable updates. Earlier, the brand confirmed that it would introduce two new models during the “Skoda Experience 2026” event scheduled for January 19 and 20, 2026. The Slavia facelift is likely to be one of the models showcased at this event.
Recent spy images reveal design updates such as newly designed alloy wheels, a refreshed front bumper featuring a distinctive pattern, and minor changes to the LED DRLs and headlamps. These updates are expected to enhance the sedan’s visual appeal without altering its core identity.

Design and Feature Updates
Most of the exterior design elements, including the side profile, grille, ORVMs, and overall silhouette, are expected to remain largely unchanged. However, Skoda may introduce slight revisions to the taillamps. True to Skoda’s design philosophy, the Slavia facelift is expected to retain its premium and elegant look.
The most significant changes are likely to be seen inside the cabin and in the feature list. The facelift could offer new-age features such as a Level 2 ADAS suite, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and additional safety and convenience upgrades.
Engine and Performance
No changes are expected under the hood. The Skoda Slavia facelift is likely to continue with the same petrol engine options:
1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 114 bhp and 178 Nm
1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 148 bhp and 250 Nm
Skoda-VW vehicles are known for their engaging performance, and the facelifted Slavia is expected to maintain the same driving dynamics.
Expected Price
With the addition of new features, the facelifted Slavia could see a price hike of around ₹1 lakh on higher variants. Currently, the Skoda Slavia is priced between ₹11.86 lakh and ₹21.26 lakh.
